Black and White Weavings

Inspired by the notion of hypermodernism, they were woven from images downloaded from free sharing websites. They questioned at what type of « scènes de genre » the internet now allowed me, the artist, to make without even having to step inside someone else’s house. A few self-portraits were also thrown in.

As a weaver and textile lover, I chose pictures that were showing textiles – curtains, upholstery, and even carpets!

Tissages en noir et blanc

Je choisis des images que j’appelle « nouvelles scène de genre » où mon intérêt se porte aussi sur l’utilisation du mobilier, des objets et de l’espace intérieur ainsi que sur la reproduction des tissus présents dans les photographies.
