The weaving are woven on a computerized Jacquard loom using a technique called brocade and are inspired by small woven silk images produced in France during the 19th century. All the colors are woven in as the work is produced.

The narratives question the act of waiting and redefine interactions happening in « non-lieux » or non-spaces, Where and who are we when we are waiting?

La technique utilisée pour créer les images s’appelle « broché ». Chacune des couleurs est incrustée à la main sur le métier. La technique est laborieuse, mais elle permet autant de changements de couleurs que de textures et de matériaux.

Le travail porte sur l’attente et la redéfinition du non-lieu. Où est-on lorsqu’on attend? Comment y être présent?
